Statistics Don't Lie:
Traffic crashes are the leading cause of death for teenagers who drive. Drivers who are 16 years old are more than 20 times likely to have an accident as are other drivers. And teenage drivers have the highest crash risk of any age group, and 16-year-olds are the worst. (Source: Insurance Institute for Highway Safety)
Teenage drivers are at a higher risk for being in a car crash because:
1. Lack of driving experience - The first few years of driving are the most dangerous; don't let inexperience behind the wheel harm your child.
2. A tendency to take risks while driving - Teens are more likely to be influenced by peer pressure and distractions. This can lead to reckless driving and speeding.
3. Feeling of invincibility - Teens believe they're going to live forever and that influences their behavior behind the wheel of their 3,000 pound car.
These 3 things combined can be a lethal combination.
But our products provide a tool that allows parents to monitor, supervise and provide guidance to their teenage drivers. It's no secret that teens drive one way when parents are in the car versus when they're not. With these products it's as though you're sitting next to your teen whenever they're driving! When parents urge their teen to be careful driving, they reply "yeah, yeah, yeah." Then once they turn the corner with the car you just keep your fingers crossed and wonder, how does my teenager "really" drive? Well, now you'll know for sure! If they speed or do something with the car you don't approve of, you'll know.
The bottom line is that your teenager's life and safety is priceless! Leave Nothing To Chance! Know everything, and I mean Everything, about your teen's driving! Better safe than sorry. Your teenager doesn't have the wisdom of an adult yet. That's why they need your close supervision and attention. These products help you do your job of being a parent to keep your teen driver safe and injury-free.
What every parent needs to know about teen driving:

More than 1/3 of teen drivers fatally injured in automobiles were speed related accidents.
Accidents are the leading cause of death for teenagers with 3,620 young drivers killed and 303,000 injured across the country in 2004.
Drivers between the age of 16 and 24 are twenty times more likely to find themselves in a car accident than any other age group.
16 to 20 year olds make up only 7% of all licensed drivers, but suffer 14% of fatalities and 20% of all reported accidents.
Nearly 1.7 million vehicles valued at over $8 billion were stolen last year in the U.S. Arrests were made in less than 15% of these thefts.
The figures speak for themselves. Don't let your teen become part of this statistic.

Ensure their safety behind the wheel with a GPS tracking solution from GPSTrackingStore.com!
Real-time Location:
Just login from any web-enabled device and see the real-time location of your child's vehicle. By clicking on the balloon (i.e., vehicle), you will instantly see the location, address (if applicable), direction, mph, and date/time stamp.
Breadcrumb Trail:
This report allows you to see the historical movement of the vehicle, plus a text version of the path the vehicle took. Again, by clicking on any balloon, you will see the time, location, address, and speed (if applicable).
SMS Messaging:
Send data, messages, directions, notes, etc via integrated the SMS Text Messaging module.

Landmarks (w/ Text or Email Alerts):
Set automatic text or email alerts to be sent as the driver approaches a particular location (e.g., home, school, friend's home, hangout, gym, etc). The alert can be sent to just one person, or several people simultaneously. You decide. You can then run a Landmark report for the hour, day, week, or month to see every time the vehicle reached that Landmark!
Geofences (w/ Text or Email Alerts):
Createa a Geofence around a school, a friend's home, restaurant, nightclub, city, or state to automatically be notified via text or email when the vehicle crosses that virtual perimeter. Again, have unlimited contacts for this Alert! The Dispatcher may use this tool to be automatically notified when a unit enters or leaves an area. (The Landmark feature, by comparison, only notifies the recipient(s) as a vehicle approaches a destination. This tool may most often be used to be alerter when a driver arrives at a customer's location). An owner may use this tool to monitor off-hours use and movement, as well as on-the-clock driving habits, or stops (e.g., girlfriend's house, bar, personal errands, etc).
Speed Alerts:
Do you wonder if your child is speeding? Set an Alert in the Admin Area so that every time the vehicle travels over, say 70mph, you (and whoever else you like) will receive a text message or email alert notifying you of this event.
Telemetry:
This refers to inputs and outputs that can be monitored or controlled by the hardware/software. For example you may wish to add Starter Disable. In the event the car is stolen, or you just don't want the car to be driven, you can kill the starter from any web-enabled device! Similarly, you can add a Door Lock/Door Unlock feature so that from your PC, Laptop, PDA, or Smartphone, you can Unlock the doors if your child accidentally locks their keys in the car, or needs to get in the car to be safe, but doesn't have the keys with him/her.
Scheduled Reports:
You probably don't have time to sit at the computer all day long, so set up the Reports you want (e.g., speed report, landmark report, detailed report) to be sent to you, and any other Contacts, every day at 8AM (for example). No need to login, just check your email! Again, the software is web-based...so all you need is an Internet connection from any device to have full-control over your account.
Insurance Discount:
Most major insurance carriers offer a substantial discount for "Live Tracking." In many cases, this discount will more than offset the Monthly Service Fee...maybe even pay off the unit over several months! Once installed, don't forget to contact your insurance company's main 800 number to see what type of discount is offered for "Live Tracking." Then, call your agent with the discount you were quoted and ask him/her to implement that discount.
Installation:
Very straightforward. This is a 3-wire install: ground, power, ignition. In theory, if you didn't want ignition events, you could skip the third wire. Any stereo or alarm shop can easily perform the install, but we are happy to send out our Nationwide Installation Team to complete the install at your home or office. They do this every day, so it's really the ideal solution. Without telemetry features, which cost an additional $10 per month, the Installation Team typically charge $125 for the installation.
